Parametric Modeling

Architecture, 2014

Each of these designs was a separate exploration into different parametric and generative digital modeling techniques for architecture. Both Revit and Grasshopper were used to generate the forms, employing methods such as iteration, formulas, geometry reference, and others.

This first Revit model applied a screen pattern to a movable form and allowed for the panels to open and close.

This second Revit model was a basic shape iterated in orientation, number, and scale, and put onto a site.

This third example was a structural system and screening system applied to a manipulated surface. In addition, the screening system reacted to another element, in this case the sun path.

This final model integrated a similar manipulated surface, but then applied a closed surface and a woven structural element.
